iQOO Neo 10R is set to launch in India on March 11th as the first Neo 10-series model in the country. The company has been pretty vocal in teasing the features and specs of the phone before the announcement. It is already known that the handset will ship with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, 2,000Hz instant touch sampling rate, and OIS support. Now, the iQOO Neo 10R fast charging details have been confirmed.
iQOO Neo 10R fast charging details
- The latest teaser poster confirms the iQOO Neo 10R will come with 80W fast charging support.
- In comparison, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro last year shipped with 120W fast charging.
- The phone is already confirmed to be sold exclusively via Amazon in addition to the iQOO website.
iQOO Neo 10R: what we know so far
The iQOO Neo 10R design has been revealed via the teaser posters. We see a squircle module on the back to accommodate the dual-camera sensors and another cutout for ‘OIS’ text. The Raging Blue colour has a blue and white dual-tone design, while the Moonknight Titanium is more muted. There is a centre punch hole cutout for the selfie snapper and flat edges.
There are reports that the iQOO Neo 10R is similar to the iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition that is available in China. The specifications of the iQOO Neo 10R were tipped recently.
- Display: The iQOO Neo 10R is tipped to flaunt a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
- Processor: The phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. This will replace the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on the iQOO Neo 9 Pro.
- Memory: The handset is said to arrive in multiple configurations: 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB storage. We might also see an 8GB/128GB variant.
- Cameras: The upcoming iQOO phone may feature a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. There could be a 16MP front camera for selfies
- To recall, the QOO Neo 9 Pro has a 50MP Sony IMX920 primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
- Battery: The handset is tipped to pack a large 6,400mAh cell with 80W (now confirmed) fast charging. For comparison, the iQOO Neo 9 Pro has a 5,160mAh battery.
- Colours: and will come in India-exclusive Raging Blue with a dual-tone design and Moonknight Titanium colours.
iQOO Neo 10R is touted to be the fastest phone in the segment with an AnTuTu score of around 1.7 million. The ‘segment’ here is referred to under Rs 30,000. This could be a hint that the phone will have a starting price in the said range. For context, the iQOO Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition in China costs CNY 1,899 (approx Rs 22,700) for the base model
